The Beacon Magizine
The Beacon was a long time dream for Pine Grove Pentacostal Church.
The first goal of this design was to lay the magazine out in a way the layout could be used as a template for future additions. The overall creative direction was up to me, as the designer, I was only told the design needed to be clean and modern.
This church’s motto is
Reach. Heal. Serve.
The editor had the articles in the magazine written in these categories.
I made the decision to divide the magazine into three parts, and designed each section to match its heading.
